On the 2016 Ford Fusion with the 2.0L engine, the P1450 is a fairly straight forward code pointing to a problem with the EVAP Purge Solenoid. This solenoid plays a role in the fuel vapor recovery system, so when faulty can cause a hard start after fueling the vehicle. The solenoid is located on the top, driver’s side of the engine. It has several plastic tubes running to/from it. Carefully inspect the electrical connector and wire harness for any loose, broken or damaged wires. Inspect those plastic tubes for any cracks, holes or loose connections. If no problems are found, the EVAP Purge Solenoid should be replaced. The Purge Solenoid has been a fairly common problem on many newer Ford models.
