On the 2012 Buick Enclave, when the air temp output is only correct on one side the dash, this is more commonly due to a faulty Air Temp Actuator (aka “Blend Door Actuator”). These are actually very common GM fail items. The driver’s side actuator is located behind the driver’s side/center of the dash (just to the right and above the accelerator pedal). To gain access, remove the driver’s side lower insulator panel. Once inside, inspect the electrical connector and wire harness for any loose, broken or damaged wires. If no problems are found, remove the actuator and turn the door pin by hand. The temp output should now be correct. If yes, replace the Air Temp Actuator. If no, then the problem lies internal of the HVAC housing. It will need to be removed from the vehicle and repaired/replaced as needed.
