On the 2005 Chevy Tahoe with the 5.3L engine, The P0332 is a fairly straight forward code pointing to a problem with the Knock Sensor for Bank-2. These are actually very common fail items on these vehicle. Water intrusion into the sensor that shorts them out is very common. The knock sensor is located under the intake manifold. So, to gain access, the intake manifold will first need to be removed. Given the high labor rate of this job, it’s strongly recommended that both knock sensors be replaced and the wire harness to them as well. After installing the new knock sensor, a small bead of water-resistant sealer can be used around the knock sensor seal and electrical connector to prevent water intrusion in the future.
