Lincoln Town Car
On the 2004 Lincoln Town Car, when installing the Serpentine Belt, to make things go a little easier, route the belt around all the pulleys except the Alternator. Using the center “square” hole on the face of the Tensioner, insert a 3/8″ drive into the hole. Rotate the Tensioner in a clockwise rotation. Pull up on the belt to collect all the slack near the Alternator pulley. The belt should now slide onto the Alternator pulley. Slowly release the Tensioner, and the belt is installed.
