On the 2004 Ford F150, the P0119 and P1289 when set together, both point to a fault with the Cylinder Head Temp Sensor. This sensor is mounted to the cylinder head, and is located under the Intake Manifold. The Intake will need to be removed to gain proper access. Inspect the electrical connector and wire harness looking for any loose, broken or damaged wires. If the visual inspection checks ok, replacing the Cylinder Head Temp Sensor should solve the problem. On the 5.4L engine, the CHT sensor is under the Intake, mounted to the top, rear of the passenger’s side cylinder head.
